When we first pulled in we were greeted by the owners dad who has some dementia issues. She was very nice when she finally showed up, but I have to say this is a very very tight little campground. Almost all are back ins with several full timers kind of spread out. We had a really hard time getting into our spot and decided to leave a day earlier than originally planned. I'd say okay for an overnighter, but only if you are small and have good backing up skills.

Great campsite! The hosts are friendly and helpful. The river is nice and low so children can play. Lots of green grassy areas and a horseshoe pit. This campground has bathrooms, showers a laundry facility and the hosts have firewood for purchase. Pets are also welcome as long as they are leashed! The one downside is it is close to the highway and can be a little loud.

This is not Jocko Hollow Campground !!! ??? You are publishing wrong information , this is a 1400 years old Buddhist Meditations Park

A lovely little campsite with relatively clean showers, all the necessary facilities, and very kind and helpful host.

Very pretty campground, nice facilities, affordable. Might not be the best site for tent camping, as the loud truck and tourist traffic on rte 93 does not stop, and a train runs past, blasting its horn every night. My dog took a shot to the face from skunks two nights in a row. A large black bear walked by at 8:30 this morning about 20 feet from my tent across the knee- high Jocko creek. Laundry lines are not allowed, and the camp owner actually removed my clothes and line, presumably to do yardwork. Pocket dogs in RVs do better than Aussie Shepherd mix working- type dogs, frantically protecting owners from wildlife surrounding the mesh and fabric walls of their tents.
